Ideas
Your comments on the topics below will help us design the agenda of our gathering in Brasil… So, please share with us:
- Occasions when we felt deeply INVITED and stepped forward to devote the best of ourselves to a cause, an organization, an “impossible” job, a passion…
- Unique, life-long transformative EXPERIENCES we’ve had and the elements that create a truly transformative experience…
- Our understanding of SUSTAINABILITY, examples of how this concept can be wisely applied, and of people who are doing this already…
- The importance of COMMUNITY at the various dimensions of our lives and occasions when the sense of belonging made a real difference for us…
- Open Space for things you yearn for learning, sharing, experiencing as a member of a global community like Pioneers of Change that could be offered in the particular context of this gathering…
We look forward to reading your inputs…

For sustainabilit questions in communities we might use Permaculture ideas to explore: http://www.permakultur-akademie.net (sorry, in German)

Frauke,
thanks for sharing this and putting it up to the webpage.
I think it’s a wonderful thought to see questions as invitations… May be Carsten has some thoughts on this from his experience with unfolding cards ?
What makes the difference between questions ?
At the end, our princple “never stop asking questions” is a continuous flow of inviations. Imagine the power behind !
Cheers,
Mark

Subject: Our Global Journey conversation yesterday…
Good morning everybody,
I just took a couple of pictures of our brown paper from last night and have uploaded them here: http://pioneersofchange.net/localnetworks/germany/events/germanylocal/
(go to the bottom of the page and download “Global Journey Berlin”)
Allison, I liked your comment about asking new questions which is actually the answer to the doubts people had about asking questions at the World Café in Hamburg…
Enjoy the rest of the week-end,
FRAUKE

Some questions really are invitation questions…..
- leaving it up to each individual receiver to “be themselves” and “understanding what matters”……
As I am becoming a father in December and will not be able to be in Brazil, then I have this question for you/us:
“How could we on Wednesday Dec. 12 connect the Global Journey with the Global network locally?”
Looking forward to see some great pioneering answers…..

Allison hosted a conversation here in Berlin on Friday around BELONGING:

Here is my personal conclusion:
“I was part of an international conversation here in Berlin. The topic was “What makes you feel like you belong?” One aspect of the conversation was “what makes you feel that you don’t belong here?” and we came up with characteristic such as isolation, discovery, adventure, freedom, confusion, etc. All this is part of an experience abroad, as well. And I realized that I need that feeling of not belonging for empowerment to take social action.”

Estimada Cris.
